Irkutsk Premier of MAF

International Autotransport Forum Directors' Board participated in first-rate exhibition of eastern Siberia «Transport and roads of Siberia. Sib. motor show» (Irkutsk, April 18-21, 2006). During the official opening of the exhibition Forum commercial director V. A. Ersh took the floor with the welcoming speech. Withing the frames of the exhibition business programme, the presentation of MAF was run, in the course of which the largest-scale autotransport companies of Irkutsk region (closed joint-stock company «Irkutsksenergotrans», LLC «Николид», Transport division of Irkutsk bread-baking plant and etc.) accepted an invitation to visit the second Forum. The press of Irkutsk region widely covered the work of the Forum Board in the exhibition, while organisers awarder the Diploma for «Active participation in the exhibition business programme».

The exhibition director, deputy director-general of public corporation «SibExpoCentr», Gennadij Lucenko noted that «MAF Directors' Board considered necessary to take part in our exhibition, in my opinion, sufficiently tells both about its perspective and constantly increasing interest in Irkutsk and Siberia as a whole from the part of large-scale business of Russia». The opinions of SibExpoCentr and International Autotransport Forum in this respect agree. Vladimir Ersh, MAF commercial director, reckons that «SibAvtosalon» and MAF have got serious perspectives in cooperation.

The main purpose of «Transport and road of Siberia. Sibavtosalon» exhibition» — finding new ways of autotransport and road-building branches development, integration of new technologies and machinery, supplying the society with modern transport facilities and services, which is also important for organisers of International Autotransport Forum. The geography of the participants is quite broad: Irkutsk, Angarsk, Bratsk, Usolje-Sibirskoe, Ust'-Ilimsk, Shelehov, Ulan-Ude, Vladivostok, Krasnojarsk, Livny, Miass, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Nizegorodskaya and Sverdlovskaya regions, the Primorsky Kray, Saint-Petersburg, Stavropol', Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl'.
